*PART 4*
Two massive threats were evicted back to back at the hands of Bryon and Brielle. Drama ensued between Gemma and Brielle going into the first vote of last week over their inability to agree on a target. The split voting put the decision in the hands of Anihi who sent out her personal biggest competition in the entire game, Arthur. So much gameplay in such a short amount of time.. I learned very fast that next Season will need to have a much bigger cast. We're already down to the Final 4!!!
Gemma finally comes out to play this season. Her strategy was to get to the end without ever being a target. She has played along with the "Pawn" strategies and overall kept her mouth shut until last week. She knew Arthur was a big threat in this game and she wanted him out, so she fought for it.. The strain in her relationship with Brielle made her nervous, so she secured her own spot in the Final 3 by winning an HoH Competition. Some great gameplay by Gemma!
Gemma has made deals with everyone that is left in the house. So this HoH win makes all of them nervous. Gemma is continuing to stay quiet and has no interest in sharing her plans. She likes seeing them sweat. She's confident that she has an amazing chance of winning as long as this week plays out in her favor.
Gemma and Brielle try to work out their differences from last week and talk game. They've started to notice Anihi is a major threat in this game and she needs to go. Gemma fills in Brielle that she has no choice but to put her up this week to keep up appearances with the other side of the house and to make Byron feel comfortable so he doesn't try to win the veto as hard. She makes it clear that they have to win Veto and get Anihi out of this game if either of them want to win.
Gemma has been nurturing Byron pretty much all season to try and insure that he takes her to Final 2. She wants to continue to show that loyalty by putting the girls on the block. But in actuality this was just to make him feel safe so he doesn't push for the Veto.
Anihi starts to feel very nervous after this Nomination Ceremony and looks to Byron for support. She wants to make sure he's going to fight for this Veto, because she is convinced she's in trouble this week. Byron complies.
The Sims gear up for a swimming race. The first to finish all the obstacles will be the winner and be the sole vote to evict for the week. A lot is riding on this for everyone but Gemma, anyone could be going home this week!
Anihi felt the pressure. She had a really funny feeling this week and she pushed hard to pull out a win for herself to gain all the power this week. This forces Gemma to put the only other person available on the block and that's Byron.
Byron is feeling pretty confident going into this vote. He has a lot of trust in Anihi, and with her having the power this week, he has no doubt in his mind that Anihi is going to choose to keep him. But the question is, should he be so confident?
He was right to be confident, because Anihi stands before them and tells Brielle that it's her time to go. She has been aligned with Byron since Week 1, they have worked together on every eviction so far and she want's to continue to honor their Alliance.
Another victim of circumstance. Brielle didn't have any strong connections after Arthur was evicted and her strained relationship with Gemma didn't help her either. I think her only chance of staying in this house this week was to win Veto and she just wasn't able to do that. Brielle played a pretty under the radar game, I'd like to see what she would do if she came back, I'm not sure if she would do any better in the New Ruleset or not. But for this game, it just wasn't in the cards for her to win. It's so fast moving you have to make moves and make them quick and only a few Sims were able to do that.. That being the 3 left in the game!
