Sims 4 Sequester 1.0 Part 7 (Teams)

*You Can Click Above For The Previous Part!!*

*PART 7*

Previously on Sequester.... Mimi was making moves to secure a strong core team that would have her back in this game. This included entering a Showmance with Model, Ervin, in an attempt to manipulate him for a vote.

Shaun continued to be a prime target in the game, and was doing whatever he could to sway people to his side.

In the Fun Run Immunity Competition, Brielle gave it everything she had to win it. Previously being eliminated by the dreaded Wheel Spin, she was given a 2nd Chance by her eliminated peers and wasn't going to take a chance of going right back out the door.

Mimi tried her best to convince her allies to target Devin this round, but she was outnumbered. Everyone else wanted Shaun out of the game, so her plan to take out Devin was put on the back burner.

In the vote, only Odd Numbered Votes were to count. A miscalculation by leaving Devin in the dark the entire round led to the votes going Even for the two highest Vote Geters. This left Devin's 1 rogue vote on Mimi as the deciding one. Mimi was automatically sent into the Battle Match.

As Devin was the only one to stand up, Mimi was pissed. She knew her alliance should've targeted Devin over Shaun and she couldn't believe 1 vote put her in The Battle Match.

In her 2nd Battle Match of the season, Mimi once again came out victorious, smoking Devin in 3D Blocking and moved on to the next round.

Devin's miscalculation on The Vote was ultimately his undoing. He had no idea no votes were going to be cast Mimi's way, and was pretty upset he was left completely in the dark for the round. Devin becomes the first member of The Jury of 9 that will help decide the winner of Sequester 1.0. 10 Remain, who will be eliminated tonight?! Let's get right into the action!

THE VOTE RULES
-Split House/Teams: This Round, the house will be split into two teams of 5. Each team will gain +10 Friendship with each other and lose -10 Friendship with their opponents. In the Immunity Competition, the sims will be competing for Team Immunity. The winners of the competition will be immune from the vote and the battle match as a team. The other team will be vulnerable and the only ones eligible to vote for.

ALLIANCES ENDING
*With each round being a reset, that means we have to crumble all the alliances that worked together in the previous round. Only a few special alliances will persist throughout the game.*

Mimi's confidence is going through the roof at this point in the game. The mastermind of the majority of eliminations thus far, she's become prime target number 1. After coming out of 2 Battle Matches victorious, she's feeling pretty unstoppable and ready for the challenge. It's going to be a long road to the finish line.

TEAM SELECTION

The housemates are gathered in the living room to draw rocks for their teams for the round. As you know, this round's immunity challenge will be team based and the winner will earn immunity for their entire team. The other team will be vulnerable to the vote.

Team 1 was randomly selected to be Sydney, Ervin, Brielle, Mimi and Jordan.

Team 2 consists of Shaun, Otis, Monica, Chad Jr and Griffin.

TEAMS END

IMMUNITY COMPETITION

After picking teams, the housemates head outside for immunity. This late in the game, having an opportunity to save an entire team could really change their place in the game. A lot of sims really need this immunity and are surely going to fight hard for it. In terms of teams, it seems Team 1 is a little more stacked physically than Team 2. Brielle, Ervin and Jordan are the most fit sims in the house while the other team is lacking.

Mimi and Shaun have had the most heat on them so far in the game. With them being on opposite teams, that means one of them will be 100% safe and the other will probably take a lot of heat.

Chad has been feeling under the weather today as well, so that could also be a hindrance for Team 2. Let's get right into it!

Everyone takes their places and the competition begins!

Monica loses her footing very quickly and falls almost as fast as they start. It's already looking grim for Team 2.

Griffin is the next one to drop. Not sure if this was calculated or not. He's been working closely with Sydney and Mimi, so it seems like he may be throwing it.

Team 2 is dropping like flies! Shaun tried his best but this type of competition isn't really his forte. He couldn't hang on any longer.

All of Team 1 is still hanging strong! Team 2 is now down to Otis and Chad Jr.

Chad falls hard after a sneezing fit. He did his best but his illness held him back.

Brielle is the first to fall for Team 1, Otis continues to hang on for Team 2. It's all down to him!

Mimi just wasn't fit enough to hang with the remaining competitors. She held on for a long time though.

Sydney and Ervin drop at the exact same time!! Otis is still hanging on for Team 2. He was the only one left going against the full team of Team 1!!

It comes down to Jordan and Otis, fighting it out for glory. They are both holding the fate of their teams in their own hands, and these boys go head to head for a long time! Neither one of them wants to drop off.

And we have a winner!!!!!!!

Otis defies all odds, going 1 vs. 5 against an entire team and pushing through to the bitter end! Team 2 is now safe!!

Otis put up an amazing fight and earned a well deserved victory. This is the first time the house is really paying attention to him. Is Otis finally ready to start playing the game?

Jordan is very upset with himself. As the most fit sim in the house, he feels like a failure. He spends so much time training for these competitions and he takes it hard when he isn't able to pull it out, especially when it's to keep his friends in the game safe.

IMMUNITY COMPETITION END

DAY 1 ACTIONS/CONFLICTS/ALLIANCES x2

Action: Manipulation can sometimes work in a game like this. +10 Friendship to Klepto/Materialistic/Evil/Insider Sims. Monica is the only one to get this roll.

Action: Goofball/Geek/Space Enthusiast Sims are bringing the entertainment to the house. +10 Friendship. This includes Mimi/Shaun/Brielle/Chad Jr/Griffin. So basically half the house.

Conflict: Music Love/Dance Machine Sims won't stop singing and dancing, it's getting on everyone's nerves. -10 Friendship with the house. This includes Otis/Mimi.

Conflict: Battle of the Funnies! The sims with the highest comedy skills in the house are clashing. Both of them want to be known as the funny one. Their relationship plummets into the red. (It seems Chad sees an opportunity to take out the biggest player in the game and he's making a scene to make her look bad... I see you Chad, you're finally feeling threatened by Mimi in this game.)

DAY 1 ALLIANCES

New Alliance: Final 2! Sydney gets a Final 2 Roll, and chooses Brielle. They gain +50 Friendship. Sydney pushes for Mimi to go this round. It's a perfect opportunity to take her out and she's too dangerous to leave in the game any longer. Brielle is in agreement and completely on board with the plan. If Mimi goes this round, Sydney will gain +2 Alliance Points and Brielle will gain +1 Alliance Point for following the plan. The Final 2 is targeting Mimi.

*Because Brielle is ALREADY in a Final 2 with Chad Jr, her Final 2 with Sydney will not be her Priority. In a situation where she would have to pick one or the other, she will pick Chad over Sydney. Because this is Sydney's first Final 2, she's completely loyal to Brielle but is unaware that it's one sided. Brielle is in a great spot until she has to choose between one or the other, hopefully she won't run into that problem for her own sake.*

New Alliance: Social Butterflies! Mimi, Chad Jr and Monica enter a Social Butterfly Alliance based on highest combined Charisma and Comedy Skill. They gain +30 Friendship with each other. Mimi really sucks up her pride after her fight with Chad earlier, knowing she's in danger now. Chad accepts her apology, which boosts them out of the red. However, Mimi is still Chad's #1 target and he's not buying it for one second. Mimi's plan is to take out Sydney this round, these girls have been targeting each other for a while so it's no surprise. Because Monica has no other alliances and isn't the biggest fan of Sydney, she's completely on board. This leaves Chad in a 2v1 situation and has to make a decision. Is he going to go along with Mimi, his biggest target in the game to take out Sydney, or is he gonna go against it, and feed Sydney information that she's on the chopping block?....

Chad isn't dumb, he knows Mimi is dangerous and has no intention of voting with her this round. He fills in Sydney on the plan that Mimi and Monica are going to be voting for her this round and she appreciates the info. Sydney gains +10 Friendship with Chad, and loses -10 Friendship with Mimi and Monica. (Sydney will be receiving an In Danger Roll later today and tomorrow to try and save herself.)

Chad is playing a much sneakier and strategic game than he did in Season 8 of Big Brother. It definitely looks like he's learned from his past mistakes and wants to win this game.

Mimi and Monica are unaware of Chad Jr's betrayal and are still on board with taking out Sydney this round. If Sydney is eliminated, Mimi will gain +2 Alliance Points for leading the charge, and Monica will gain +1 Alliance Point for following. The Social Butterflies are targeting Sydney.

PERSISTING ALLIANCES

Persisting Alliance: Mimi fills in her ride or die, Jordan, on the plan she's concocted to get Sydney out this round. As usual, Jordan goes along with whatever Mimi wants to do, and is on board with her plan. Mimi will already be gaining +2 AP for this round if Sydney goes, so no change. But Jordan will now be gaining +1 Alliance Point if Sydney goes. The Final 2 is targeting Sydney.

Persisting Alliance: Brielle convenes with Chad Jr to catch up with him and Chad basically takes the words out of her mouth before she can even say it. Chad is sick of keeping Mimi in this game and he's ready to pull the trigger. Brielle was already planning on this, but doesn't want Chad to know about her other Final 2 and plays along to let him think it was his idea. Chad will gain +2 AP if Mimi goes, and no change for Brielle, she was already going to gain +1 AP. The Final 2 is targeting Mimi.

Persisting Alliance: Mimi continues to pull at Ervin's heartstrings, faking a romance with him for an extra vote. It's unclear weather or not Ervin is aware that he's being used or not, but for now, he seems to be willing to work with her. Mimi pushes Ervin to vote for Sydney this round and he's willing to go along with it. Mimi continues to get her way. No change for Mimi, but Ervin will now be gaining +1 AP if Sydney goes. The Showmance is targeting Sydney.

DAY 1 ACTIONS END

DAY 1 IN DANGER ROLL

Because Chad Jr informed Sydney that she was being targeted this week, she's given an In Danger Roll. She chose to campaign to Ervin and Shaun for +15 Friendship. Sydney has taken note that Ervin is being used by Mimi, and she tries her best to get it through his head that he's being used as a pawn. Shaun is there to back her up, he has a lot of issues with Mimi as well and wants to help Sydney out of this mess.

Ervin takes in the information, but doesn't really give a clear indication of which way he's going to vote this round. He's a hard one to read.

IN DANGER ROLL END

The game is spicing up, and it seems to be a showdown between two of the biggest gameplayers in the house. But with the Battle Match twist, there is no guarantee that the sim who receives the most votes will be eliminated. They will have a chance to fight for their spot in the house, which is the beauty of this game. It's looking to be the biggest vote yet, and these girls have been holding on by the edge of their seats for weeks. There's no where left for them to hide.

Shaun is so lucky he's safe this round. I feel like they would've eaten him alive if he didn't have immunity. These remaining girls are vicious when it comes to gameplay and getting what they want.

Sydney congratulates Otis on his big win. As the winner of the first Rock Climbing Competition against 19 other sims, she knows how tough it is to hang on. She makes an attempt to bond with him in hopes he will vote her way this round.

It seems Jordan made an underhanded joke about Monica's lack of effort in the Immunity Challenge and she was not having it. A screaming match ensues and Jordan is a little taken aback by her sudden anger.

Mimi does her best to diffuse the situation. She needs her allies to keep their eye on the task at hand, and not fight with each other. Dissension in the ranks is the last thing she needs at this point.

Sydney really seems to be falling back on her Round 1 connection with Shaun for this round. She needs him to help her convince the house to keep her.

Otis's popularity in the house after that clutch win is really on the rise. Everyone is trying to talk to him. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. He's been under the radar for so long now, is this really the right moment to come to the forefront and show your power?

Sydney really tries to pull Ervin out of Mimi's camp. She knows she needs his vote and is trying very hard to get it.

Griffin has been working closely with both girls and really didn't want to be put in this predicament. There's no telling right now where his vote is going to land. He's currently not in an alliance and it could really go either way. Griffin is a definite swing vote this round.

Mimi has been working Otis for most of the night and Sydney takes notice. She butts into the conversation in an attempt to break it up. Mimi is very annoyed by her.

While everyone is fighting over whether Sydney or Mimi should go this round, the two biggest threats in the game are sitting in a Final 2 and going completely unnoticed right now. Brielle and Chad Jr are in the best spots in the house and if these sims were smart, they'd take notice of that before it's too late.

Sydney continues to butt into Mimi's conversation in an attempt to sabotage her game. This time, she butts in on a conversation she's having with Brielle. Mimi is so over it.

Sydney finally leaves and Mimi hammers home her points to Brielle. She tells her that the longer she keeps her in this game, the further she will go unnoticed. Mimi says that as long as she's in this game, she will be the target. Brielle really takes some time to think about it, she makes some great points.

Sydney goes off on Ervin in the kitchen. I guess paranoia finally sets in for her, and she is convinced that he has no intention of working with her this round. Ervin is pretty confused by the entire encounter and doesn't understand why she's acting so crazy.

The whole encounter left a pretty bad taste in his mouth, and it's not looking good for Sydney now, especially after a meltdown like that. It seems like she's letting the game get to her.

Shaun continues to campaign for his girl, Sydney, well into the night. She did the same for him in previous rounds and he wants to repay the favor.

Monica continues to find herself in a good position playing the middle of the house. She has relationships on both sides and does a good job of jumping wherever it will benefit her most. But with the numbers dwindling, her game could be exposed any minute.

Sydney has trouble keeping her mouth shut on the fact that she knows her "friend" Monica is siding with Mimi to take her out this round. She feels betrayed that Monica would do that to her and save Mimi of all people. Monica's nerves are shot, she's completely shaken by the fact that Sydney found out about her alliance and doesn't know what to say. This could be bad for her in the future.

In the early morning hours before the Daily Rolls, a fight breaks out between Ervin and Griffin. Both guys have been working closely with Mimi and Sydney, and it seems they had quite a heated discussion over it. I have no idea why these two guys dislike each other, but throughout the game, they've rolled in different circles and haven't interacted much.

Ervin wins the fight and Chad and Shaun are just about as confused as to what happened as we are. Their friendship took a big dip, but didn't go into the red quite yet. We'll have to keep an eye on these two.

DAY 2 ACTIONS/CONFLICTS/ALLIANCES x2

Action: Vain/Self Absorbed Sims look out for #1. It can sometimes work in their favor. They gain +10 Friendship with the house. This includes Ervin, Mimi and Griffin.

Action: A Creative Mind keeps the house on their toes. +10 Friendship with the house for the highest painting skill. It seems Chad Jr has a hidden talent.

Conflict: It's difficult for a Creative Soul when they can't create. Art Lover/Photographer's Eye Sims lose -10 Friendship with the house. This only includes Sydney.

Conflict: Self Assured/Perfectionist Sims are getting a little too confident in their games. They lose -10 Friendship with the house. This includes Griffin and Ervin.

DAY 2 ALLIANCES
*There was no change for the Day 1 Alliances, their targets remain the same*

New Alliance: Final 2! Monica receives a Final 2 Roll and picks Chad Jr as her Final 2. They gain +50 Friendship. Much like Brielle, this will be Chad Jr's 2nd choice for Final 2. If there comes a situation where he would have to choose between Brielle and Monica, he will always pick Brielle first. Monica is unaware of Chad Jr's other Final 2, and this alliance will be treated as her personal #1.

Chad hammers home the fact that Mimi is dangerous to Monica. He tells her that they should not go along with Mimi in the Social Butterflies Alliance. Monica tries to explain herself to Chad that it was the only thing offered to her this round and that's why she was going along with it. Chad convinces Monica to change her mind, and she changes her vote. The Social Butterfly Alliance is no more, but Mimi doesn't know that. Chad is already gaining +2 AP if the vote goes his way, but now Monica will gain +1 AP if Mimi is eliminated. The Final 2 is targeting Mimi. (Mimi wasn't sure if Chad would vote her way or not, but she will not expect Monica to flip on her. This could be interesting.)

New Alliance: It seems that Shaun and Griffin have spent their free time out of danger cozying up to each other and having some fun. A New Showmance is formed! Shaun and Griffin gain +20 Romance and now have a persisting Showmance Alliance. Shaun makes it pretty clear that he wants Mimi out of this game, and this new romance gives Griffin a reason to make a choice. He decides to go along with his new boytoy's plan and will be voting against his former ally. If Mimi is eliminated, Shaun will gain +2 AP and Griffin will gain +1 AP. The Showmance is targeting Mimi. (A lot of Persisting Alliances in the game now.)

DAY 2 ACTIONS END

DAY 2 IN DANGER ROLL

Sydney spends elimination day using smart strategy to increase her friendships. She gains +5 Friendship with the house.

IN DANGER ROLL END

Mimi's manipulation skills aren't quite what they were in the early rounds. People aren't trusting her and her grasp on her housemates is slipping. She's definitely in danger yet again.

Sydney has worked hard to campaign for herself this round. She was informed that she was a target early on and has done a lot to make up for it. However, she has had a few meltdowns and let the paranoia get to her. Is that gonna to be too much of a setback to save her? We're about to find out, the vote is up next!

DAY 2 ALLIANCE TARGETS
*This is a rundown of The Alliances in the game for this round and who they will be targeting going into the vote. The sim initiating the vote will gain +2 Alliance Points if their target goes out, and the sim/sims following their lead will gain +1 Alliance Point.*

THE VOTE

The numbers have dwindled so much, it's crazy to see the living room so empty. We are steadily approaching the finale and it's very clear that our remaining 10 are here to play.

As the round has progressed, it's pretty obvious this vote is coming down to either Sydney or Mimi, but the question is, who fought harder to keep themselves out of the battle match?! Let's find out!

Sydney receives a total of 4 votes. So far it's looking pretty good for her to stay, but let's see where the rest of the votes fall!

Completely betrayed by Chad Jr and Monica, Mimi receives a total of 6 votes, once again sending her into The Battle Match. But this time, it wasn't by a single fluke vote, it was by receiving a majority.

Mimi was prepared for this, but was still hoping she could've convinced the house to keep her for another week. She's disappointed but ready to compete. As always she is told to stand before her housemates and the sims who voted for her are then asked to stand up. Mimi is ready for this, she wants to know who voted for her.

As her housemates stand, she is pretty shocked by what she sees. She thought she was close with Griffin and she was convinced Monica would vote with her. She is pissed that Monica flipped on her like that. Sadly for her, the people who betrayed her are not available to pick for the Battle Match. Only Brielle and Sydney are available for her to battle against.

Sydney isn't shaken or intimidated in the slightest by Mimi. She's ready if that's what she chooses to do. Brielle on the other hand isn't looking as confident and it's clear she does not want Mimi to pick her.

Luckily for Brielle, Mimi has a habit of trying to get her enemies out of this game, and Sydney has been a major thorn in her side. It's target vs target, two major players are about to collide and only one of them will return! Are you #TeamMimi or #TeamSydney?! Let's get right into this Battle Match.

THE VOTE END

THE BATTLE MATCH

The Battle Match was randomly selected to be Repair Test. The first to repair their toilet in the fastest time will remain in the game! I'm not confident in either of these girls on this competition. This is not their forte in the slightest.

Sydney has her eye on the prize, she's fought hard to get this far and even though her name has been thrown around quite a bit, she always seems to avoid being the main target. If she remains in the game, I think her road to the final will be a little more difficult without Mimi to shield her.

This is Mimi's 3rd Battle Match and this is the most nervous we've seen her. Repairing Toilets is not in her arsenal of things she excels at and this could turn out badly for her. Mimi is a fighter though and has worked hard to stay in this game. She's not gonna give up without a fight.

And there we have it, it's over! Sydney finishes her toilet before Mimi, and the queens reign has ended. Sydney is given another chance in the game, but I honestly think she'll be taking Mimi's place as the target now that shes out. Sydney has a lot of struggles coming her way unless she finds some way to turn things around.

BATTLE MATCH END

I'm really sad to see Mimi go, she was the most exciting to watch, but I had a feeling when she got that repair challenge she was gonna have a hard time. She just played a little too hard and she didn't have the skill set to win Battle Match after Battle Match. It was destined to catch up to her eventually unless she found a way to completely turn around her social game. The house really didn't like her for most of the game. She had some really strong allies that had her back 100% but she scared too many other people. Jordan will surely be devastated that she's gone, but I'm sure Monica and Chad will be ecstatic that she's out. Neither of them wanted to face her wrath had she come back into the game. Hopefully we will see her again one day! I loved having her in the game!
